This blog is especially for the students who have signed up for Co-LIFE Pilot 2.
As you prepare to begin this next phase, this is a quick look at what lies ahead and how the experience is designed to support your learning, collaboration, and growth over the coming weeks.

Starting in Jaipur at ARCH
Pilot 2 kicks off in Jaipur at ARCH College of Design and Business, a space where design, sustainability, and entrepreneurship come together. Jaipur itself becomes part of your classroom. The city’s deep-rooted craft traditions and evolving business landscape will help you understand how culture, community, and enterprise intersect in real, practical ways.
Meeting Impact-Focused Enterprises in Person
A key highlight of Pilot 2 is working closely with Impact-Focused Enterprises (IFEs). These organisations are addressing real sustainability and livelihood challenges, many within the handcrafted sector. You’ll engage with them directly, understand their constraints and opportunities, and build solutions grounded in real-world contexts.
Building Cultural and Business Understanding
Throughout this phase, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of India’s social, cultural, and business ecosystems. From local production systems to community-led enterprises, you’ll see how sustainability is shaped by context—and why impact-focused entrepreneurship requires both empathy and strategic thinking.
Meeting Your Teams and Getting Started
For many of you, this will be the first time meeting your teammates and mentors in person. The opening days focus on building trust, aligning expectations, and establishing how you’ll work together. Through ice-breakers, discussions, and planning sessions, you’ll set the tone for collaboration over the rest of the pilot.
Pilot 2 is designed to challenge you, ground your thinking, and help you learn through experience. Come ready to engage, ask questions, and learn alongside your peers, mentors, and partners.
